Each Turtle figure is uniquely sculpted, with heights ranging from 4.25 inches to 5.25 inches, to capture the individual personalities of the characters from Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show. Each Turtle is wearing his signature bandana and comes packed with their two core Ninja weapons and added weapons rack for hours of Ninja playing excitement.

Pros+A classic TMNT character returns.+Like all the Nickelodeon Ninja Turtle figures, these figures are priced much more competitively than their Star Wars or Transformers counterparts in "brick and mortar" stores. Big plus if you can find them for the in-store price.Cons-Paint apps suffered a bit. The character's yellow "bandana" is only painted in the front of the face while the sides of the head are just the grey plastic color even though you can see the headband continues a bit on the sides. The back of the packaging even shows that this yellow is supposed to wrap around the head a bit more for the "bandana" effect. This figure could have also really benefited from a more metallic paint job instead of the usual dull grey plastic-look.-No elbow articulation. The arms only move at the shoulder and swivel at the forearm. I like my figures to be able to bend at the elbow.-Shorter than the other TMNT. Even Mikey, who is the shortest of the line.-There's not a whole lot of extra weapons here. Just the missile accessory even though the package mentions 1) a flame thrower and 2) a missile launcher, you only get the missile accessory. The original 1980s TMNT figure came with a backpack, replaceable hand and a mini satellite dish. The missile is not spring-loaded, it is a "flick fire" meaning you have to flick with your finger from behind his elbow (an unsightly hole in the back of the arm) for it to fire. This weapon "feature" is probably what also eliminated the elbow joint.-The Metalhead concept art had an antennae sticking out of his head. None here, just a short plastic stub where the antennae should be.Not a bad figure, but it does seem like the four main turtles are the only ones with full articulation and the best paint job. Metalhead also has more of an "animated" look than what we are used to. His forearm gauntlets also remind me of Ultimate Iron Man, whose repulsors fired out of the forearm instead of the palm of his hand. Still, Metalhead is a fan favorite and he is easily the best of the second wave of TMNT toys. Pick him up for the nostalgia or if you never got a chance to grab the 1980s version.I guess what is really hurting my review are all the some missed opportunities to have fun with the "robot turtle theme" here: Since Metalhead is a robot turtle, his shell could have been designed to open to reveal a weapons storage locker inside the body cavity (guns, spare nunchakus and ninja stars for the turtles, pizza oven, etc). Elsewhere in the franchise (TMNTIV/Turtles in Time) Metalhead also had some neat abilities that modern toy manufacturing could have had fun with: Pop open his chest to reveal hidden laser guns. Telescoping fists that can extend to "punch" enemy toys, etc.
